Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Mithal operates the Demo. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to team@mithal.ai.

2. Information we collect

• Access and account information, including your name, email address, intended use, approval status, and access dates.
• Authentication and technical information, such as session identifiers, IP address, device or browser information, timestamps, security logs, and rate-limit records.
• Content you submit, including text, audio recordings, uploaded audio, voice samples, transcription inputs, settings, feedback, and support messages.
• Demo results and activity, including transcripts, selected voices and dialects, and generation status. Generated audio itself is not saved.

3. How we use information

• To review access requests, authenticate users, operate the Demo, and deliver requested results.
• To provide support, maintain history, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and secure the service.
• To evaluate and improve reliability and user experience using operational data and feedback.
• To comply with law and protect Mithal, our users, and others.

4. Voice and audio data

Voice recordings may identify a speaker and can be sensitive. Only submit a voice you own or are expressly authorised to use. We process submitted audio and text to provide the feature you request. Mithal does not use your private submitted content to train general-purpose models unless we first give you separate notice and obtain any consent required by law.

Generated audio is not saved after it is delivered to you; the Demo does not currently offer a history of past generations. Transcription and live-recording inputs are sent to the relevant speech service for processing and may pass through temporary infrastructure logs or storage.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, authentication, storage, monitoring, and speech or language-model inference. They process information on our behalf to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security threats, or in connection with a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. International processing

Mithal and its providers may process information in countries outside the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for these transfers.

7. Retention

We keep account, access-request, security, audit, and Demo-history information for as long as reasonably needed to operate and protect the preview, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. The Demo does not currently promise a fixed automatic deletion period. You may request deletion at team@mithal.ai; we may retain limited records where legally required or necessary for security and fraud prevention.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and secure sign-in links. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid submitting secrets or unnecessary highly sensitive information.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email team@mithal.ai; we may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use essential session technology and local browser storage for sign-in, security, language preferences, and product functionality. We do not currently use advertising cookies in the Demo.

11. Children and changes

The Demo is intended for people aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the preview changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
